Job Summary
The Business Unit Head – Infrastructure Business Continuity Management Systems (I-BCMS) is responsible for leading the growth, profitability, and strategic direction of the I-BCMS Business Unit. This role focuses on driving revenue, leading a high-performing team, managing strategic enterprise relationships, and expanding Afrocentric IP’s Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Cloud Infrastructure, and Resilience solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Leadership
- Drive revenue growth and business unit profitability.
- Develop and execute business development strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the I-BCMS team.
- Identify new market opportunities and strategic initiatives.
Client & Partner Management
- Build and maintain executive-level client relationships.
- Manage strategic enterprise accounts and customer retention.
- Develop partnerships with OEMs, distributors, and technology vendors.
- Represent Afrocentric IP at industry events and customer engagements.
Solution & Service Delivery
Lead and promote solutions including:
- Business Continuity Management (BCM)
- Disaster Recovery (DRaaS)
- Backup as a Service (BaaS)
- Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
- Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
- Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP)
- Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
- Operational Resilience
- Risk & Resilience Consulting
Business Operations
- Manage Salesforce CRM, forecasting, and reporting.
- Oversee service delivery and SLA performance.
- Support marketing campaigns and lead generation.
- Drive governance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or NQF Level 8 qualification in Business, IT, Sales, or a related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in ICT Sales, Business Development, or Managed Services.
- 5+ years’ experience in Sales Management or Business Unit Leadership.
- Proven experience selling Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Infrastructure, or Managed Services solutions.
- Strong commercial, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
- CBCI/MBCI and relevant vendor certifications are advantageous.
